Heard.

A perusal of the impugned order as well as the affidavit-in-reply would reveal that though the petitioner was initially granted parole leave for 30 days, it was subsequently extended for a period of 30 days. Even thereafter, the petitioner did not surrender, but filed an application for further extension. The reason given is that the petitioner's mother was suffering from hypertension and chest pain.

The ailment which the petitioner's mother was suffering from cannot be said to be of such a nature which requires petitioner's continuation on parole leave even after 60 days.

In that view of the matter, no case is made out for interference. Hence, the

The fees of the learned Counsel appointed for the petitioner is quantified at Rs.1,500/-.
