07/10/2023 Petitioner's mother has approached this Court seeking directions to the police to trace out her daughter aged 15 years, who went missing in the year, 2014. 2.

The petitioner has lodged missing report in the year, 2014 itself, but the police could not trace out her daughter. Therefore, this petition is filed in the year, 2018. Time and again directions have been issued to concerned police to trace out petitioner's daughter by investigating with all possible angles.

The police have time to time updated as to what sort of efforts were taken to trace out the girl. Finally, the girl was traced on 01.10.2023 at Balaghat (State of Madhya Pradesh). It was revealed that there was love affair of the girl with one boy belonging to different

10 cr wp1041.18.odt..odt community and out of love affair they run away at Samnapur, Taluka and District Balaghat (M.P.). It was revealed that since then the girl has also changed her name after marriage and by this time she is having three issues from the marriage. The police brought victim girl as well as her husband at Gondia and after realizing the things, registered offence of kidnapping and rape against her husband. It was also transpired that victim herself gave a statement to the police that out of love affair she ran away and was residing happily with her husband. Superintendent of Police has filed affidavit to that effect. Moreover, it has been stated in the affidavit that petitioner and her husband met with their daughter at Police Station and realized the happening.

The very purpose of this petition is to the limited extent of issuing directions to the police to trace out the missing girl. Though, there is long delay, however, the matter depending upon the facts of case. Be that as it may, since the girl is traced out and purpose of this petition has achieved, the Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of.
