Heard Shri P. S. Sahare, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.
It is submitted that the petitioner is working as Mahila Inspector/GD and at present she is discharging her duties at Manipur. She has made a representation to the Inspector General of Police seeking her transfer from Manipur to Delhi, which is pending. 3.
On the Court's query, the learned counsel for the petitioner failed to satisfy how the cause of action arose to file the petition before this Court. However, request is to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner expeditiously which is pending before the Authority in relation to her request transfer. 4.
Having regard to her earlier postings, in our opinion the petition lacks merit as we do not see any reason to cause interference in the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take such steps as is permissible in law for pursuing her representation pending before the concerned Authority.
