The only prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner for grant of pensionary benefits.
Shri Kale, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent nos.1 and 2, states on instructions that the representation of the petitioner has been rejected. It is stated that the copy of the order of rejection of the representation would be conveyed to the petitioner within a short time.
Since the representation made by the petitioner has been decided, the cause of action would not survive. The petitioner is free to challenge the order of rejection, if need be. The writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
