According to the petitioner, the directions issued in Public Interest Litigation No.97/2016 directing the respondent herein to consider the audit objection that was raised in the year 2014-2015 and thereafter, prepare a report, was not complied with. After notice was issued in the contempt petition, affidavit has been filed by the respondent indicating the manner in which the relevant material was considered and the report was prepared. A copy of that report has been sent to the petitioner on 28/03/2018.

In the light of aforesaid, we are satisfied that the direction issued in Public Interest Litigation No.97/2016 has been complied with. Needless to say that if the petitioner has any grievance as regards the findings in the report as submitted, he is free to take such steps, as permissible in law.
