DATE : 21.12.2016 The only prayer made by the petitioner in this writ petition is for a direction against the State Government to conduct the elections to the Agricultural Produce Market Committee at the earliest and to permit the petitioner as well as the other Members of the Committee to continue on the Committee till the A.P.M.C. elections are concluded.

Shri Deshpande, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent nos.1 to 4 states, on instructions, that the elections to the Market Committee would be concluded within a period of three months but the A.P.M.C. should submit the list of voters to the respondent no.3 at the earliest.

2112wp6992.16.odt Shri Kurekar, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner being a Chairman of the A.P.M.C. would ensure that the list of voters would be submitted to the respondent no.3, within fifteen days.

By accepting the statements recorded herein above that would be binding on the parties, we dispose of the writ petition by permitting the petitioner and the other Members of the Committee to continue on the Committee till the elections to the A.P.M.C. are concluded.

Order accordingly. No costs.
