Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2.

Having regard to the factual matrix viz. allotment of land we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by following order: (i) The compliance which are reported by the petitioner be duly forwarded to the respondent-Nagpur Improvement Trust, if so required by calling additional information from the petitioner to the State Government, in any case, by 31.01.2025.

The communication issued by the Nagpur Improvement Trust to the Desk Officer, State Government, Urban Development Department, Mumbai, dated 29.10.2021 has to be kept at the back of the mind while dealing with the claim of the petitioner by the State Government. For said purpose, if so required, we permit the petitioner to appear before the Authority, viz. Secretary (Estate), Nagpur Improvement Trust on 02.01.2025 in response to information called by the respondentUrban Development Department. (ii) Once such proposal complete in all respects, is forwarded, which is in continuation to the earlier proposal dated 07.04.2009, we expect the State Government to take a decision on the same expeditiously and in any case within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the proposal from the Nagpur Improvement Trust.

The aforesaid time bound directions are issued having regard to the fact that the State Government has not decided the proposal for last fifteen years.
