In respect of Crime No. 184/2015 registered at Police Station Koradi, Nagpur, for offence punishable under sections 304B, 498A r/ws. 34 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant seeks anticipatory bail. Heard learned counsel for rival parties. Perused the contents of the First Information Report. The wife of the applicant committed suicide due to severe ill-treatment at the hands of the present applicant-husband, though in the marriage that took place on 18.12.2014, gold, silver ornaments etc. were given to him. The applicant tortured the deceased when she went with the applicant to Pune and used to demand money from her parents time and again. Not only that, when she was pregnant, the applicant tortured her so much that she had a miscarriage. Ultimately she committed suicide on 22nd October, 2015. Thus, there is a live link with the suicide due to the torture given by the applicant, both mentally and

18.01.aba.712.15 physically, and demand of dowry repeatedly. No case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail. Hence the following order:

ORDER

Criminal Application (ABA) No. 712/2015 is rejected.
