We direct the Deputy Collector (Rehabilitation) to consider the claim of the petitioner for issuance of certificate of Project Affected Person in view of the Administrative Circular dated 11-7-2000 and the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No.3602 of 2020 decided on 2-1-2023 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of eight weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the said Authority with written notes of arguments. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would appear before the said Authority on 26-2-2024. 4.

Needless to clarify that it shall be open for the petitioner to approach this Court again if the decision goes against him. 5.

The petition stands disposed of. No costs.
