CIVIL APPLICATION (CAW) NO.3376 OF 2019 The petitioner submits that a public notice has been published in '

Daily Loksatta' on 14.12.2019 inviting objections to the proposed purchase of five acres of land by the respondent no.1 - Society. As a challenge has been raised by the petitioner to the order passed by the Co-operative Appellate Court it is prayed that the respondent no.1 be restrained from proceeding in terms of the said public notice. The request is opposed by the learned counsel of the respondent no.1. It is submitted that since objections have

caws3245 & 3376.19 invited to the proposed purchase no prejudice would be caused if the said process continues. The learned counsel however seeks time to file reply so as to oppose the prayers in the writ petition. Considering the fact that at present objections have been called to the proposed purchase of land admeasuring five acres by the respondent no.1 - Society, it is free to consider the effect of the objections if any received by it. However, the respondent no.1 - Society shall not take any further steps in that regard till 07.01.2020.
