The petitioners are aggrieved by the order dated 05.01.2019 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Amravati in a Revision Application under section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.

The learned AGP appearing on behalf of respondent Nos. 3,4,5 and 6 submits that the petitioners have a statutory remedy of filing a second revision under section 257 of the MLR Code in the light of the judgment delivered by the Hon'ble Apex Court in the matter of Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani vs. State of Maharashtra, 2015(6)Mh.L.J. 915.

I find that the Hon'ble Apex Court has recently held in the matter of Virudhinagar Hindu Nadargal Dharma Paribalana Sabai Vs. Tuticorin educational Society, 2019 SCC Online SC 1292, that availability of a statutory remedy is a 'Near Total Bar' for the High Court to entertain a Writ Petition under its supervisory jurisdiction.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to avail of the second revision remedy. The time spent by the petitioner in this Court from 23.9.2019 till the passing of this order would be a ground for condonation of delay.
