By this petition, the petitioner seeks directions to the respondent no.1 to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959 against the order of cancellation of the petitioner's Arms Licence. It is informed that the petitioner has also made a representation to the respondent no.1 on 04.07.2023 for expeditious decision of the appeal.

That being so, we direct the respondent no.1 to decide the appeal, if not decided, in relation to the cancellation of the Arms Licence of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible. 4.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
