DATE : December 19, 2019 The respondent Nos.2 and 3 seek extension of time to comply with the directions issued by this Court in Judgment dated 05/09/2019 in Writ Petition No.1072/2019. By that judgment the Gram Panchayat was directed to pay amount of Rs. 1,34,676/- to the petitioner till 30/11/2019. That amount was to carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum if the same was not paid by that date. A pursis has now been filed on behalf of the Secretary as well as Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat which is taken on record and marked 'A' for identification. As per that pursis the entire amount is intended to be paid in instalments considering the financial position of the Gram Panchayat. It is stated that the entire amount would be paid by 20/11/2021.

Shri D. S. Lambat, learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submits that the petitioner has no objection if such

Accordingly the pursis dated 19/12/2019 is accepted. The amount of Rs.1,34,676/- with interest at the rate of 9% per annum be paid in the manner indicated in the pursis. The petitioner shall furnish his bank account number to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 who shall deposit the instalments in that account. The order dated 05/09/2019 insofar as it prescribes the time to make the payment stands modified accordingly.
