By judgment delivered on 5th September 2018, this Court allowed the appeal and held that the respondent / accused is guilty of commission of offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. This Court directed the accused to deposit Rs.5,00,000/- within two months and to pay costs of Rs.20,000/- and produce receipt of it on record of this appeal till 26th October, 2018. This application is filed by the accused seeking extension of time to comply with the directions given by this Court. Extension of time is sought on the ground that the accused intends to challenge the judgment by filing petition for special leave to appeal and it is under process.

This application is filed on 25th October, 2018. Except for stating that the accused intends to file petition for special leave to appeal, it is not pointed out that it is necessary to extend the time and the accused cannot
