or directions and Registrar's orders.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shri Ram Karode, Advocate for petitioner.

Shri S. M. Ghodeswar, Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1 to 6. CORAM : NITIN W. SAMBRE AND ABHAY J. MANTRI, JJ. DATE : December 13, 2023 1.

Heard Shri Ram Karode, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The relief claimed in the petition pertains to issuance of directions to respondent No.1 to initiate enquiry and to take positive steps to improve the quality of food in Anganwadi Centers of District Washim. It also seeks an order thereby restraining respondent No.2 from supplying the food in Anganwadi Centers in Washim District. 2.

We have perused the annexures placed on record in support of the public interest litigation. We hardly see any reason to infer that the scheme implemented by the respondents is faulty as the petitioner has failed to demonstrate any such failure on the part of respondent No.2 in the matter of discharge of his lawful duty.

3.

That being so, the public interest litigation stands dismissed. (Abhay J. Mantri, J.) (Nitin W. Sambre, J.) Asmita
