DATED : SEPTEMBER 25, 2019 The grievance of the petitioner about non payment of arrears is satisfied. However, the arrears arising out of applicability of Sixth Pay Commission have not been paid to any of the employees and it is the statement made on behalf of the Municipal Council before us that as and when payment shall be made to other employees, payment shall also be made to the petitioner.

In view of above, the proceedings for contempt are dropped. The contempt petition is disposed of.
