In short, it is his contention that though there is encroachment made upon the open land, the issue is not finally decided by the Chief Officer, Municipal Council, Deori.

Considering the issue raised, we direct that present petition be treated as a representation of the petitioners and same shall be decided by respondent No. 6, within eight weeks from today. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
