The challenge is to the opinion tendered by the learned Sessions Judge, who has pronounced the order of conviction in Special Criminal (Child) Case No.246/2017 convicting the petitioner.

Based on the opinion rendered by the learned Sessions Judge, as of now i.e. till this date, no order is passed by the Competent Authority.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with directions to the Competent Authority to pass an order in the matter of grant of remission. In case, if such order those adverse to the interest of the petitioner, the petitioner is at liberty to approach.
