DATED : 21-07-2025 Applicants/respondent Nos. 1 to 5 have moved this application to permit them to withdraw the amount deposited by the appellant in this Court along with accrued interest thereon, for which the learned Advocate for the appellant has given no objection to permit them to withdraw 50% of the compensation amount on usual undertaking. The learned Advocate for the applicants has accepted the said proposal. 2.
In view of the same, having considered the reasons disclosed in the application as well as the no objection given by the appellant, the application is partly allowed. The applicants are permitted to withdraw 50% of the compensation amount, along with accrued interest thereon, as per the award, upon furnishing a usual undertaking before the registry. 3.
The Registrar (J) is directed to transfer 50% of the compensation amount along with accrued interest thereon in the bank accounts of the respective applicants, as per the award, on their furnishing a usual undertaking as well as the bank account details to the registry, within four weeks thereafter.

It is made clear that applicant Nos. 2 and 3 are minors; their amount are to be kept in fixed deposits in the bank till they attain the age of majority.
FIRST APPEAL NO. 709 OF 2024 Heard.
