DATE : 28 FEBRUARY 2022 The Petitioner has challenged the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal dated 8 September 2016 refusing to proceed further in the Contempt Petition filed by the Petitioner.
02] We have gone through the order passed by the Tribunal. The Tribunal, for the reasons given therein, has decided not to initiate the contempt proceedings.
03] Considering the nature of jurisdiction that we have called upon to exercise, we do not find any warrant to interfere with the order. Contempt is a matter between the Court and the Contemnor. 04] The Writ Petition is, accordingly, rejected.
