Heard learned counsel Shri M.R.Ali for the applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri N.B.Jawade for the State. Also, perused reply filed by the State and chargesheet.

The applicant is arrested in connection with Crime No.12/2019 registered with Sakkardara Police Station, Nagpur for offences punishable under Section 21(C) and 29 of the The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 read with Section 142 of the Bombay Police Act.

Commercial quantity of mephedrone which is psychotropic substance was seized from the applicant. The applicant is having past criminal record. Ten criminal cases are pending against him.

After hearing learned counsel Shri M.R.Ali for .....2/-

ba1137.19 23 the applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri N.B.Jawade for the State and when the Court expressed its opinion that the Court is rejecting the application, learned counsel for the applicant submitted that he wishes to withdraw the application.

The criminal application is rejected as withdrawn.

6.

Since learned counsel for the applicant is withdrawing the application, the Court is not giving detailed reason for rejection of the application.
