The First Information Report (FIR) No.379/2025, dated 15/9/2025, for commission of offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 316(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sahita is registered against one Rishi Sandip Khatri on the basis of report lodged by the informant namely Jitendra Murlidhar Soni. The applicants are not named in the FIR.

According to the FIR, informant Jitendra Murlidhar Soni along with his brother Nitesh Murlidhar Soni runs the business of purchasing and selling of gold ornaments under the name and style as M/s. Murlidhar Bansilal Soni. The applicants and accused Rishi Khatri, being partners of M/s. Baijnath Jewellers, used to sell and purchase gold ornaments. In the month of December 2024, accused Rishi Khatri and one Radhesham Chhagai, came to the shop of informant and told him that one of their customers wanted to purchase gold ornaments for huge amount. Thereafter, there were exchange of negotiable instruments between the parties, and consequent to dishonour, proceedings under Section 138 of the

2 11.aba.813.25 Negotiable Instruments Act were filed. Those proceedings are pending.

According to the learned counsel for the applicants, the proceedings under Section 138 of N.I. Act are filed much prior to filing of FIR. In that view of the matter, the immediate custodial interrogation of the present applicants is not required.

The applicants are attending the Police Station regularly and cooperating the police machinery. 6.

The learned A.P.P. conceded that the applicants are attending the Police Station regularly.

Considering the allegations made against these applicants, the interim protection granted on 20.10.2025 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.

The applicant to attend the concerned Police Station till filing of the charge-sheet.
