This is an application for grant of bail.

Heard learned counsel Shri S.V.Sirpurkar for the applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri M.K.Pathan for the State. Also, perused reply filed on behalf of the State.

The applicant is arrested in connection with Crime No.391/2019 registered with Ramdaspeth Police Station, District Akola for offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The applicant is Gram Sewak of village Wadali. As per the prosecution case, he demanded Rs.4000/- from complainant Sachin Rele for mutating his name. Therefore, said Sachin Rele lodged a complaint with the Anti Corruption Bureau at Akola. In pursuance to the complaint, a trap was laid and the applicant was caught red handed .....2/-
accepting tented amount.

Investigation is over. There is no chance that trial of the anti corruption case will be conducted in near future. Though chargesheet is not filed, learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri M.K.Pathan for the State fairly submitted that investigation is over and only formality of filing of chargesheet is remained to be done. The applicant is a government servant. There is no chance that he will not be available to the course of justice. No document is in possession of the applicant. In fact, all documents are already seized by Investigating Officer.

In this view of the matter, I pass following order:
ORDER
(1) The criminal application is allowed.
(2) Applicant-Ravindra Ram Gandale, in connection with Crime No.391/2019 registered with Ramdaspeth Police Station, District Akola for offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, be released on bail on his executing a P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with two solvent sureties of the like amount.
(3) The applicant is directed to attend the Anti Corruption Bureau at Akola each week from Monday to Friday and shall be with the said Bureau from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., till filing of chargesheet.

(4) After chargesheet is filed, the applicant is directed to attend the said Bureau once in a month i.e. on 3rd Tuesday of such month, till trial is culminated.
With this, the criminal application stands disposed of accordingly.
