DATE :
19th November, 2018 Heard Shri Bewali, learned counsel for the petitioner/applicant and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor for the respondents.
It is seen that a petition seeking a similar relief filed by the applicant has already been disposed of by this Court by an order passed on 20th August, 2018. From this order, it is further seen that the applicant has been given a liberty to challenge the ultimate penalty imposed, if any, and also to approach the appropriate authority for release of the vehicles Since this application seeks a similar relief as claimed in the Writ Petition filed earlier, being Criminal Writ Petition No. 571 of 2018, disposed of on 20th
August, 2018, we see that there is no reason to pass yet another similar order. The application is, therefore, disposed of in terms of the order passed by this Court on 20th August, 2018 in Criminal Writ Petition No. 571 of 2018, with a further direction to the Competent Authority to grant an appropriate hearing to the applicant, in case the applicant approaches the Authority, and decide the issue in accordance with law.
