We direct the learned Additional Government Pleader Ms S. S. Jachak to waive notice for respondent No.2.

The prayer is for grant of compassionate appointment in respondent No.3 - Village Panchayat. 3.
We have heard the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent No.3, who states that out of the two posts, one is permanent and another is to be filled in on contractual basis. In case, if the petitioner's claim for compassionate appointment is to be granted, such post is required to be filled in by respondent No.2 i.e. the Chief Executive Officer and it is for the respondent - the Chief Executive Officer to take call qua the claim put forth by the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment. According to the learned Counsel for the respondent No.3, the documents in relation to the claim for compassionate appointment shall be placed before the respondent No.2
2 918.wp.03.25 within a period of two weeks from today.

We direct the respondent No.2 to take decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment within a period of four weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 5.
In case, if the decision is adverse to the interest of the petitioner, he shall be at liberty to approach before this Court.

With the above directions, the petition stands disposed of.
