In response to the decision of this Court dated 17th April, 2017 in Criminal Writ Petition No.3 of 2017, investigation was transferred to the Crime Branch. We have perused the reply filed by the respondents. In para 14 of the reply, it is stated as under :

"The answering respondent respectfully states that, the petitioner was called to Crime Branch and his statement recorded afresh, in which he is repeating same story and also now come up with afresh allegation against some unknown persons. The Crime Branch has duly conducted the investigation and during the course of investigation it is found that it is a case of suicide, which is supported by the medical evidence and corroborated by the statement of various witnesses. Therefore, there is no merits in the

282wp1141 2/2 present petition and as such the present petition filed by the petitioner may kindly be dismissed and be dismissed accordingly. "

In view of above, we do not find that anything else is required to be done in this matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
