JULY 21, 2025 At the outset, learned counsel for applicants seeks leave to amend prayer clause to seek quashment of charge-sheet. Granted. 2.

Amendment be carried out forthwith.

Applicant No.1 and non applicant No.2 are present before the Court. They have tendered across the bar a Joint Pursis stating therein that the dispute has been settled amicably. Taken on record. 4.

Counsel for applicants submits that civil proceedings have been disposed of in terms of the compromise, which the parties have tendered before each Court. Now, what is left is the proceeding under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 5.

The charge-sheet has been filed in terms of the report filed by non applicant No.2 against the applicants under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code,1806. 6.

In view of the amicable settlement, non applicant No.2informant is not willing to proceed with the criminal proceedings and has no objection if the prayer to quash the FIR and charge-sheet is allowed.

We have interacted with applicant No.1 and informant and satisfied that the parties have willingly settled the dispute.

In view of above, charge-sheet No.205/2024, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34, registered with Police Station, Ram Nagar, Gondia (Crime No. 0317/2023) is quashed and set aside.
