This Court directed the petitioner to pay Rs. Ten Thousand per month from December, 2014 onwards towards maintenance to the respondent. The petitioner has filed this application seeking eight weeks' time to comply with the order passed by this Court. The petitioner has given the reason that due to the demonetization of some currency notes his business is affected and he is finding it difficult to deposit the amount. Except for the statement, the petitioner has not placed any documentary evidence on record to support the submission.

The civil application is dismissed.

If the amount, as directed by this Court is paid to the respondent / wife or not deposited with the Registry of this Court till 20th January, 2017, the petitioner shall remain present before this Court on 30th January, 2017 at 10.30 a.m.

Filing of translation of Annexure-IV is dispensed with at present on condition that the plaintiff will file the same, if required by this Court.
