The present petition has been filed for issuance of directions to respondent nos. 1 to 4 to decide the application of the petitioner for his transfer from Gadchiroli Jail to Yerwada Jail or Thane Jail.

Mr.M.K.Pathan, learned A.P.P. for the respondents states that the proposal in relation thereto is already forwarded to the Deputy Inspector General of Prison on 7.2.2018.

In view of above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the D.I.G. to decide the application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period six weeks from today.

Fees of the learned Counsel for the petitioner are quantified at Rs.1,500/-.
