Prayer is to condone the delay in filing cross-objections. In the application, it is stated that the amount of enhanced compensation was received on 29.09.2018 and thereafter these cross-objections have been filed.

The prayer for condoning delay is opposed by the learned counsel for the appellant.

However, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, delay in filing the cross-objections is condoned on the condition that the cross-objector would not be entitled for interest on the enhanced compensation for the period from 27.08.2017 to 01.11.2018. Civil application is allowed in aforesaid terms and disposed of.
