The appellant has preferred this appeal under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, challenging the order passed by the Special Court, rejecting the application for bail. 2.

After hearing learned counsel for the appellant to some extent and after going through the investigation papers, I have shown my disinclination to grant bail. Learned counsel for the appellant seeks permission to withdraw the appeal. 3.

The appeal is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to file appropriate application after one year, if there is no substantial progress in the trial.
