DATED : 13 th December, 2019 This petition is filed by two petitioners - petitioner No.1 Advocate Shri A. K. Waghmare and petitioner No.2 - R. S. Paunikar. Petitioner No.1 Shri A. K. Waghmare, advocate appears in person. Petitioner No.2 - R. S. Paunikar identified by petitioner No.1 Shri A. K. Waghmare Advocate is also present. However, we cannot permit the petitioner No.1 Shri A. K. Waghmare, to represent the petitioner No.2 - Shri R. S. Paunikar, as Shri A. K. Waghmare is appearing not as an Advocate, but in person and Vakalatnama of petitioner No.2 - Shri R. S. Paunikar is not on record. Power of attorney executed by petitioner No.2 Shri R. S. Paunikar authorising Shri A. K. Waghmare is also not placed on record. Petitioner No.2 can argue the matter in person. However, he will have to get certificate from the Committee as per the Norms for Presentation and Conduct of Proceedings in person as per Chapter IV-A of the Bombay High Court Appellate Side Rules, 1960.

2 Cr.WP1087.2019 The office note shows that the petitioner No.1 Shri A. K. Waghmare, Advocate has also not appeared before the Committee, to satisfy it that he can appear in person. However, as petitioner No.1 - Shri A. K. Waghmare is an Advocate, practicing since last about 20 years, we permit Shri A. K. Waghmare to appear in person. But the petitioner No.2 Shri R. S. Paunikar will have to appear before the Committee and satisfy the Committee that he can appear in person. Shri A. K. Waghmare, Advocate states that the matter is urgent and it be taken in afternoon session. The petitioner No.2 - Shri R. S. Paunikar shall appear before the Committee before 03.00 pm.

The criminal writ petition be called for hearing at 03.30 pm. today.
