Perused the application. There is a delay of 53 days caused in filing the first appeal. The respondent - Union of India through its General Manager, Central Railway opposed this application by filing the reply. Considering the submissions of respective sides and after going through the contents of the application, I am of the view that delay of 53 days could be condoned in the interest of justice.

Hence, the civil application is allowed. The delay caused in filing the first appeal is condoned.
