The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime No.571/2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

2. It is alleged that the applicant took the victim, daughter of the first informant, without the consent of her parents and, therefore, the crime is registered.

3. The learned Advocate for the applicant has stated that the victim is major, she left the house on her own and has performed marriage with the applicant. The applicant and the victim are staying together. It is brought to my notice that the victim has given statement and she has stated Kavita

2 / 2 10-aba 850-25 that out of love affair she left the house and performed the marriage as the parents were against her marriage. 4.

The learned counsel appearing for the applicant has stated that the applicant has performed the marriage. She is major. Her birth certificate is filed on record. As the marriage certificate is also filed on record, the custodial interrogation of this applicant is not required. Hence the interim protection granted on 13.11.2025 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.
