Resolution of Standing Committee deciding value of contract at Rs.29.38 crores passed on 11.05.2017 is being questioned in this P.I.L. by a Corporator, who states that when compared with earlier years, the revision upwards is manifold and not in the interest of Corporation or public. 3.

The tenders are already floated and the date of opening of tenders is 11th December, 2017. Today is the last date for submission thereof.

In this situation, we are not in a position to accept such a challenge at the instance of a Corporator. We, therefore, dismiss the P.I.L. No costs.
