We have heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the order dated 9-2-2024.

The only issue survived in the petition is in respect of the higher pay scale, as observed in paragraph 2 of the order dated 9-2-2024. 3.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent Nos.1 to 3, on instructions, informs that the proposal for grant of higher pay scale is already received from the Management, particularly having regard to 10 years' service completed by the petitioner. He submits that the decision on the said proposal shall be taken expeditiously and in any case within a period of eight weeks from today.

Since the statement is made on instructions by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the same is accepted.

As such, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition. Needless to clarify that in case a fresh cause arises, it shall be open for the petitioner to approach this Court again.
