DATED : SEPTEMBER 03, 2019 This is an application seeking leave to appeal filed on behalf of the acquiring body VIDC. In this application, respondent No.1 (original claimant), has appeared suo moto through counsel. It is also pointed out that connected appeals are also pending before this Court.

Considering the fact that the acquiring body would have to bear the burden of payment of compensation to the claimant, the present application deserves to be allowed. Accordingly, the application is allowed.
