Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The challenge raised in this petition is to the communication dated 6th November, 2025, by which the respondent No.2 has refused to grant permission to the petitioner to contest the election. It is not disputed that the petitioner is an employee of the respondent No.3. In view of this undisputed fact and in view of the communication issued by the respondent No.2, we find no merit in this petition. 3.

The petition is accordingly dismissed.

It is needless to mention that it is the discretion of the respondent No.2 whether to allow the petitioner to contest the election or not. It is not even the case of the petitioner that the said discretion has been exercised by the respondent No.2 malafidely.
