The learned counsel for the appellant submits that an exorbitant enhancement in the amount of compensation is granted by the Land Acquisition Authority and hence the award passed by the Authority is challenged. For grant of stay to the execution of the impugned decree, the appellant is ready to deposit 75% of the entire decreetal amount in this Court.

On the appellant's depositing 75% of the entire decreetal amount in this Court within a period of eight weeks from today, the effect and operation of the impugned judgment/decree shall remain stayed during pendency of the appeal.
