It is demonstrated from the record that the proposal dated 07.04.2016 forwarded for grant of approval to the promotion of the petitioners to the respondent-Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Bhandara and subsequent reminders for such proposal were also sent time and again to the said Authority, however, the respondent-Education Officer(Secondary) has failed to decide the same.

That being so, we direct the respondent no.1-Education Officer to take decision on the proposal for grant of approval as has been sought referred to above as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of production of copy of this Order.

If the approval is granted, we further direct to release all consequential benefits in favour of the petitioners within period of three months thereafter.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
