This is an application for condonation of the delay of 135 days in filing the First Appeal. The learned counsel for respondent No.1 has objected to the condonation of delay on the ground that the applicant has not stated sufficient cause for delay in the application.

Perused the application and record. Considering the facts of the case, I do not find substance in the submission of learned counsel for respondent No. 1; accordingly, the application is allowed. The 135-day delay caused by the filing of the first appeal is condoned. The appeal be registered.

FIRST APPEAL STAMP NO. 25421 OF 2025 Heard.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable after five weeks.

At the oral request of learned counsel for the appellant, the appellant is permitted to deposit 40,000/- of the compensation amount, along with interest accrued thereon, in the Court by the returnable date.
