DATE : FEBRUARY 25 , 2020 .
The petitioners who are appointed as Assistant Teachers at the respondent no.5-Institution have filed this writ petition challenging the order dated 14.08.2018 passed by the Deputy Director of Education refusing to grant approval to their appointment.
This Court had issued notice in the writ petition and it is informed by the petitioners by filing C.A.W. No.529 of 2020 that the Education Officer (Secondary) has now granted onward approval to the appointment of both the petitioners. The order dated 06.08.2019 with regard to the petitioner no.1 and the order dated 12.07.2019 with regard to the petitioner no.2 are placed on record. The only grievance that now survives is the release of salary pursuant to grant of such approval.
Accordingly, in the aforesaid circumstances, the following order is passed:- Pursuant to the approval granted by the Education Officer (Secondary), the Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur shall forward the proposal with regard to the release of salary of the petitioners to the respondent no.2 within a period of four weeks from today. Thereafter, within further period of four weeks, the respondent no.2 shall take appropriate steps to enable such unpaid salary of the petitioners being released.
WP8013-18 The writ petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms. No costs. With the disposal of the writ petition, C.A.W. Nos.2062 of 2019 and 529 of 2020 also stand disposed of.
