A prayer in this petition is made to hold and declare that the petitioner is entitled to the interest at a particular rate on the delayed payment of his dues towards arrears of salary and other retiral/terminal benefits.

Be that as it may, since this issue has not been decided by respondent authorities, we direct respondent No. 3 to decide the issue treating this petition as representation, in accordance with law, within eight weeks from receipt of copy of this order and petition.

Petition is disposed of accordingly.
