The applicants have apprehension of arrest in Crime No.223/2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 407, 409, 417, 420, 468 and 471 read with Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegations are made that the applicant along with other co-accused has made over-payment to the Contractor in the year 2013. The contract was terminated in the year 2017. The recovery suit is filed by V.I.D.C. and the applicants are the defendants in said civil suit which was filed after terminating the contract in the year 2017. Thereafter in the year 2023 in a joint measurement, misappropriation was found and the crime is registered in the year 2025. The allegations made in the civil suit and the F.I.R. are same.

The applicants were protected by granting interim protection.

The applicants are attending the Police Station and specimen Signature of some of the applicants are taken.

The learned A.P.P. seeks time to take signature of some of the applicants in some of the matters. 8.

As the applicants are already attending the Police Station, and they are available for signature, the interim protection granted is confirmed on the same terms and conditions except a modification in the condition that the applicant shall attend the Police Station as and when required by the Investigating Officer. Rest of the conditions are kept as it is.
