Since 2001 the respondents are working on the post of 'Lecturer' on ad-hoc basis which has prompted them to approach before the Tribunal with a relief of issuance of directions to the petitioner to extend the benefit of subscription of G. P. F. and G.I.S.

The order is questioned on the ground that Rule 4 is not applicable to ad-hoc employees as the same is applicable only to permanent and temporary employees.

The Tribunal has considered the effect of Rule 4 and also the impact of the Government Circular dated 13.04.2010 and has proceeded to pass the order impugned.

The view expressed by the learned Tribunal is completely in tune with not only the policy of the petitioner - State Government as reflected in the Government Circular dated 13.04.2020 but also in the matter of interpretation of Rule 4 referred above.

That being so, no case for causing interference in the extra ordinary jurisdiction is made out. The petition as such fails and it is dismissed.

No costs.
