In this matter, this Court by order dated 14th August, 2024 directed the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioner for payment of interest of back wages paid to him within a period three months from the date of production of copy of this order. 2.

Petitioner filed this contempt petition alleging that the respondents deliberately and intentionally avoiding to comply the order and directions issued by this Court, therefore, this Court by order dated 6th February, 2025 issued notices before admission as to why the order is not complied with by the respondents.

In responses to the notices issued by this Court in the present petition, today, when the matter is came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 3 placed on record the copy of decision dated 24th March, 2025 taken by the Deputy Director of Education i.e. respondent no.3. The same is taken on record and marked as "X" for the purpose of identification. 4.

The perusal of the order dated 24th March, 2025 shows that the respondent no.3 has taken the decision in the matter as per the directions issued by this Court.

The respondent no.3 has tendered unconditional apology for the delay caused in complying the directions of this Court vide order dated 14th August, 2024.

In the circumstances, it is seen that alleged contempt is purged by the respondents and tendered unconditional apology for delay on his part to take decision. Hence, we are of the opinion to drop the contempt proceeding against the respondents. Hence, the present contempt petition stands disposed of.
