Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

In short, the petitioner's contention is that, while preparing the waiting list for compassionate appointment, the authorities have not considered the date of her application but the date of the order passed by this Court, insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

The learned AGP fairly states that the insertion of the name of the petitioner in the Waiting List, according to the date of the order, is incorrect.

In that view of the matter, we direct the respondent No.2-Collector, Amravati to correct the Waiting List for compassionate appointment, by treating the date of application i.e. 04.03.2022 as the date of consideration of the present petitioner for granting compassionate appointment. 5.

Such exercise shall be done by the respondent No.2 within four weeks from today.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
