DATED : 25th APRIL, 2024 The respondent No.4 has issued the communication dated 23/4/2024, addressed to the petitioners expressing its willingness to reregister the petitioners in the list of Home Guards, on compliance with two requirements, (i) the medically fit certificate from the District Civil Surgeon and (ii) the character certificate from the police department. The petitioners, therefore, are now entitled to be enrolled in the list of Home Guards after compliance of the aforesaid requirements. In view of which, the petition is disposed of in terms of the communication dated 23/4/2024. No costs.
