The petitioner alleges contempt of the order passed in Writ Petition No.612/2017 dated 01.02.2017 whereby the respondent no.2 was directed to decide the proceedings filed by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of the communication of the order. The respondent no. 2 has filed affidavit in reply wherein it is stated that the application of the petitioner is decided by passing detailed order on 14.02.2018 and an unconditional apology is also tendered for not deciding the application within stipulated time. We accept the statement made in the affidavit in reply and dispose of the contempt petition.

It is made clear that in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, he is at liberty to challenge the same.
