DATED : 18 th JUNE, Present application is for quashing and setting aside the First Information Report registered vide Crime No.836/2019 dated 25.08.2019, filed at the behest of nonapplicant No.2 with Police Station, Gadge Nagar, Amravati for the offence punishable under Sections 498A and 324 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.
Respondent No.2 filed Pursis with this Court on 11.06.2024 stating that there was an amicable settlement between the parties i.e. husband and wife and they filed marriage Petition No.F-324/2022 for mutual divorce. The learned Judge of the Family Court, Amravati allowed the said petition on 03.02.2023. Thereafter, the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Court No.4, Amravati
2 36-APL No.1375.2019 before whom R.C.C. No.55/2020 was filed, in view of the investigation that was carried out in respect of the Crime No.836/2019, acquitted the applicants on 07.02.2023. 3.
In view of the said Pursis, the crime itself is not pending against the applicants. In view of the same, the present application stands disposed of as rendered infructuous.
